Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Paul Sheils

Founder, General Dentist

Dr. Paul Sheils founded PureHealthDental with a deeply personal mission in mind. During a fishing trip on the Yellowstone River in Montana, Dr. Sheils witnessed his 17-year-old son struggling to breathe while sleeping, leading to a diagnosis of severe sleep apnea. This pivotal experience inspired Dr. Sheils to explore the connection between airway health and dental care, and ultimately to establish PureHealthDental.
Dr. Sheils earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. He then enhanced his skills with advanced training in IV sedation techniques at the University of Southern California, surgical and bone grafting programs at Temple University, and an occlusion residency at the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Sheils loves fishing, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife, Sarah, and their two sons, Bjorn and Finn. His dedication to both his family and his patients truly defines his approach to dentistry.
